Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • BLS
  • Must possess excellent people skills, a high level of adaptability and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to interact with healthcare professionals and center personnel while maintaining a high level of credibility in a demanding environment is of utmost importance.
  • Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, HIS/RIS and PACS

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree
  • BLS and ACLS preferred
  • One-year experience in the medical field

Responsibilities

  • Support therapists/technologists in safe patient handling and mobility (SPHM) activities, including transfers, lifting, turning, and ambulation
  • Help coordinate patient flow to and from the changing rooms, and in and out of the department.
  • Manages clinical inventory, performing regular checks and coordinating supply orders to ensure continuous service availability.
  • Performs daily maintenance of blanket and contrast warmer, refrigerator temperature checks, and transport equipment. (wheelchairs, stretchers, oxygen tanks, etc.)
  • Demonstrates courteous, respectful communication with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Uses aseptic technique, maintain knowledge of Universal Precaution and radiation safety protocols.
  • Performs other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.
