About The Position

Rayus Radiology is one of the largest imaging service providers in the country, and with 9 locations in the Southeast Florida area, we are challenging the status quo by providing patients with flexible scheduling, and excellent service, come join us as a Radiologic Technologist! As a Teleradiology Associate, you will be responsible for providing administrative and technological support for the teleradiology department by sending radiologic images between centers and to radiologists.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age
One (1) year experience as a Technologists Assistant (I)

Nice To Haves

High School diploma, or equivalent
Currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program

Responsibilities

Forwards images and paperwork to appropriate radiologist and location
Entering outside reads, networking and assigning cases
Checks systems and computers for proper function
Checks with on-call radiologist concerning exams that need to be networked to their homes on a daily basis
Ensures that after hour reads are setup for the radiologist that is to read the scan
Checks department voice mail and email in a timely manner
