About The Position

Dupray is currently seeking somebody to fulfill a full time position for internal IT support specialist. Reporting directly to the manager of the IT department, you will be the go-to person for all internal support requests. You will be responsible for setting up, managing and maintaining all hardware and software, troubleshooting all internal support requests, ensuring that employees have proper access and permissions to all of our online services and infrastructure, tracking and maintaining inventory and testing out new hardware, software and services. You will also be responsible for managing our internal network along with all connected devices and setting up new work stations when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional IT experience.
  • DEC in the field of information technology or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of both macOS and Windows as our fleet consists of both Apple MacBooks and Windows laptops.
  • You must have good troubleshooting skills.
  • Good networking skills and knowledge is required.
  • Good knowledge of modern technology, hardware, software and services.
  • You must understand how to use the command line (aka Terminal).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace is an asset.
  • Knowledge of JumpCloud or other directory systems is a major asset.
  • Knowledge of account security, maintenance and SSO is an asset.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work on different tasks simultaneously as we are a fast-moving company.
  • Excellent communication skills are of the utmost importance.
  • You should be autonomous, organized and flexible in order to accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, be enthusiastic, and have a demonstrated capacity for learning new things.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all internal employee support requests.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of all company-issued hardware and software.
  • Ensure that employees have correct permissions and access to various platforms and services.
  • Manage and maintain our internal network along with all connected devices (laptops, printers, scanners, phones, etc).
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboardings.
  • Keep track of hardware and software inventory.
  • Improve and maintain IT documentation.
  • Code bash scripts to help with system maintenance.
