Requirements

• DEC or AEC in industrial electronics technology (or related field)
• Certificate of qualification in electricity (License C) OR 2,500 hours accumulated in the apprentice's logbook (asset)
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation
• Ability to communicate clearly in French and functional English
• Strong organizational skills and autonomy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to actively contribute to process improvement
• Team player and assertive

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Honeywell Distributed Control System (DCS) (an asset)
• Certificate in gas appliance technology class 1 (an asset)

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, calibrate and adjust various types of equipment, instruments, systems or control and instrumentation equipment
• Diagnose and repair single and three-phase 110/575 volt electrical circuits including motors, starters, wiring, transformers, lighting, heating, etc
• Contribute to continuous improvement
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems
