About The Position

The Continental Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Used Car Technician for their Austin INFINITI location. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement, paid training, and performance bonuses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnostics and repair of all makes and models, ensuring a superior customer experience. The dealership offers a fully air-conditioned shop.

Requirements

• High level of skill, preferably ASE Master Certified Recon Tech.
• Experience with a business or industry that prioritizes customer experience.
• Ability to work with multiple product lines.
• Knowledge with aftermarket parts/vendors to complete a repair.
• Positive mindset and ability to find the upside to challenges.
• Integrity, self-motivation, and productivity.
• Team-player mentality and understanding of the bigger picture.
• Enjoyment of learning and applying new skills.
• Great communication skills, including listening and conversing.
• Proficiency with diagnosing concerns pertaining to drivetrain, electrical, suspension, brakes, etc.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must have your own tools (MB specialty tools will be provided).
• Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and have a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspect vehicles for proper reconditioning so they may be retailed.
• Perform basic maintenance and vehicle repair needs.
• Work well with team members and advisors.
• Diagnose concerns pertaining to drivetrain, electrical, suspension, brakes, etc.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Work on a computer and learn new programs.
