About The Position

The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Baytown Ford is a busy service department with never a slow period, and they are looking for CERTIFIED FORD TECHNICIANS. They offer a $5,000 signing bonus for Ford certified technicians and a $10,000 signing bonus for Senior Master Technicians. Technicians can earn up to $50.00 per hour based upon their certifications and experience.

Requirements

• High CSI is a must.
• ASE or manufacturing training.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Notify service advisor if additional work outlined is needed or required.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
