About The Position

This is a full-time Technician position at Del Amo Motorsports in Long Beach, CA. The role involves assembling and performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new units, managing the PDI area and service warehouse storage, and performing basic maintenance such as oil and tire changes. The technician will work under the supervision of the PDI Manager and Service Manager, adhering to all dealership policies, dress codes, and maintaining positive working relationships. Non-essential functions include possessing technical and mechanical aptitude and familiarity with the dealership's product lines.

Requirements

• Previous motorcycle or automobile service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Some technical and / or mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity of product lines sold in dealership.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and PDI new units.
• Responsible for new units, starting from receiving to customer walk around as outlined in the PDI training procedures and guidelines.
• Responsible for organization and control of PDI area and service warehouse storage.
• Capable of performing simple maintenance i.e.; oil changes, tire changes, etc.
• Able to work under close supervision of PDI Manager and Service Manager.
• Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department.
• Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times.
• Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
