Here, you will make an impact by: Conducting complex tests as directed with minimal supervision, including chemical formulation preparation and processing; sample measurement and analysis using optical, surface area, and particle size techniques; and component assembly. Implement test methods, including sample preparation, testing, data analysis, and reporting results. Maintaining electronic laboratory notebook records of test conditions, results and observations, and summarizing experimental data using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel or other software applications. Participating in team meetings to plan for subsequent experiments. Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, placing purchase orders to ensure availability of raw materials and supplies, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M.
