Responsibilities

  • Processing, debriding, packaging, and labeling processed nerves, as well as inspecting unprocessed tissue prior to processing.
  • Using specialized techniques, instruments, and equipment to clean and size tissue according to established specifications, protocols, and SOPs while maintaining accurate documentation and production records.
  • Supporting lab cleaning and cleanroom activities in compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable federal, state, and AATB regulations.
  • Receiving, storing, picking, issuing, and shipping raw materials, supplies, and finished products while maintaining accurate inventory records, documentation, and FIFO practices.
  • Supporting efficient warehouse, production, and shipping operations by ensuring materials are moved safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining organized workspaces and compliance with FDA/GMP, USDA, OSHA, Axogen policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, call schedules, and other duties or departmental support as assigned.
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and preparing processing tools, reusable equipment, instruments, supplies, and manufacturing components according to approved SOPs and validated procedures.
  • Ensuring items are properly inspected, packaged, labeled, documented, handled, and stored while maintaining separation of sterile and non-sterile materials to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Verifying sterilization cycle parameters, completing required records and operational PMs for washers and sterilizers, and promptly reporting deviations, equipment issues, nonconformances, or safety concerns.
  • Supporting compliance with cGMP, FDA regulations, quality system requirements, company procedures, audits, inspections, investigations, and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
