About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair equipment safely and effectively to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty-line locations may also maintain large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas-related equipment. The role offers work across varied equipment makes and models, on-the-job training, and opportunities to develop skills for a career in service or operations management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May need to provide tools of the trade.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language may be required depending on location needs.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training.
• One to three years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty-line equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment.
