About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment. The role involves working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment, with opportunities for career development in service or operations management. The position is in a safety-focused environment with an emphasis on teamwork. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment, and potentially large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment at specialty lines locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 + years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May need to provide tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• Experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
