About The Position

Join Aftermath as a Technician and help restore peace of mind after life’s toughest moments. This isn’t a desk job—it’s hands-on work that makes a real difference. In this role, you earn money based on the work being performed. Our team's total earnings are comprised of two rates—Administrative and Job Time Hourly Rate. The administrative rate is a fixed rate of fifteen dollars per hour. This role involves biohazard cleanup (blood, bodily fluids, trauma scenes). Aftermath is the nation’s largest biohazard remediation and trauma cleanup company. For over 25 years, we have provided professional and compassionate services to more than 35,000 families, communities and businesses after traumatic events. More than 250 experienced crime scene cleanup professionals are dedicated to lifting the burden of cleanup from those who are grieving after tragedies like suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, infectious disease outbreaks, accidents or other biohazard situations by providing emergency rapid response 24/7/365.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
  • Local candidate (must respond within 1 hour of call)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging environments
  • Willingness to undergo comprehensive training in biohazard remediation processes.
  • Comfortable with dynamic schedules and occasional overnight travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, demolition, restoration, or related fields.
  • Strong work ethic and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer service experience and military personnel are highly valued.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere strictly to safety and compliance protocols, ensuring a safe work environment
  • Responsible for the proper use, care, and routine maintenance of company equipment and vehicles; promptly reports issues or needed repairs.
  • Participates in comprehensive training programs covering biohazard cleanup processes and procedures, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, customer service, and related job skills.
  • Completes administrative duties including shipping and receiving, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and coordinating Stericycle pickups.
  • Performs job site setup and breakdown; safely operates power tools; conducts disinfection procedures; and accurately mixes and applies cleaning and disinfecting products according to established guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, providing biohazard remediation services in various emergency situations.
