This role involves operating Recycling and Wastewater/UPW processes according to work instructions. The technician will assist in the installation and qualification of process equipment, troubleshoot daily process and equipment issues, and identify/implement system improvements to enhance safety, process efficiency, and performance. The position requires a strong safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently. The technician will also be responsible for developing a complete operational understanding of installed systems, ensuring processes run on target, responding to alarms, collecting and analyzing process data, performing minor maintenance and repairs, calibrating instrumentation, performing routine analysis, maintaining accurate records, and handling hazardous waste. Training production associates, updating internal documentation, and maintaining effective communication with associates and engineers are also key responsibilities. Adherence to safety procedures, good housekeeping standards, and maintaining a clean work environment are essential. The use of powered industrial equipment and providing verbal and written shift pass-down communications are also part of the role. The job description is subject to change.
