About The Position

Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical systems, including fixed and rotating equipment, engines, pumps, generators, compressors, piping, valves, vessels. Identifies and implements reliability, integrity, economic, carbon reduction, and safety improvements for above systems. Performs work of medium complexity and may assist on projects. Receives close supervision only on non-routine and critical aspects of work. General knowledge of Chevron policies and processes. Shale & Tight is accepting online applications for the position of Technician, VOC / Emissions located in Greeley, Colorado, through April 9th 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's license
  • 1-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Understanding of Reg 7 standard.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical ability test

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document ECD preventative maintenance and site inspections to ensure proper safeguard operation, ECD efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform or initiate any manufacturer required repairs.
  • Assemble and repair oil field machinery/equipment.
  • Provide assistance to Operations as needed.
  • Develop, document and implement quality control procedures.
  • Maintain company vehicle to ensure ability to safely and effectively perform required tasks.
  • Abide by all Chevron Control of Work Standards and Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and reducing environmental impact in all job aspects.
