About The Position

As a Technician Test Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing detailed testing and troubleshooting of products and systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Your technical expertise will contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our testing processes, supporting the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. You will report directly to our Test Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact product quality assurance by identifying defects early in the production cycle, improving test procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product testing or technical troubleshooting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of test equipment operation, calibration, and maintenance to ensure precise and reliable results.
  • Experience with diagnosing and resolving technical issues during testing phases, including documenting and reporting findings.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and safety protocols relevant to product testing environments.
  • Proficiency in using test software and hardware tools specific to the product line being tested.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Experience working in aerospace, automotive, or electronics manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in testing and troubleshooting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test procedures on products and systems according to established protocols to verify functionality and performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, documenting findings and collaborating with engineering teams for resolution.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Assist in developing and refining test procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the testing process.
