About The Position

As a Technician Test Level 2 FAA here at Honeywell Aerospace Engines, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the test quality and functionality of all aircraft engines are met. You will be responsible for conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical feedback to any of the 3 major departments (OEM, Overhaul or Development). Your attention to detail and expertise in testing procedures will contribute to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our Test Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix Engines, AZ location on 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri) 2PM-10:30PM. You may also be asked to work extending shift hours along with weekends and Holidays.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in testing Aircraft APU or Propulsion engines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Extensive mechanical background

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
Military or Civilian experience in the aviation field
Experience with testing equipment and tools
Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures

Responsibilities

Conduct tests on OEM / Overhaul / Development engines to ensure functionality and quality.
Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to the 3 major departments.
Maintain accurate records of test results and provide reports as needed.
Keep up with the cleanliness and maintenance of the test cells.
