About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Spinner Technician to join our Photo Operations team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, monitoring trends, assessing results to what is expected, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement and customer quality product. The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn and mechanical experience on equipment.

Requirements

Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 5+ years direct applicable Photo semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documents
Problem Solving and assessment capability.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication photo spinner equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex photo spinner equipment issues.
Attention to detail and very clear communication with the confidence to escalate any unknowns or issues.
Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and possible problems; then translate into a working solution
Engagement with Engineering to ensure production quality result from the spinner equipment.
Executes change point management to ensure Quality execution and validation.
Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assure a quality clear result.
