Supports scheduled laboratory-type classrooms, such as those found in mechanical trades (e.g. Automotive Services and/or Collision, HVAC, Welding), by sharing expertise and industry knowledge. Works alongside the instructor with the operation and maintenance of the lab by performing maintenance on equipment when needed, setting up demonstrations, and providing instructional support as needed. This is a combined position consisting of two separate roles: 0.3 FTE Technician, Shop Laboratory (80911) and 0.2 FTE Hourly Instructor, Substitute (80906). To be considered for this combined HVAC Shop Technician/Substitute Instructor role, you must submit a formal application to both job postings.
