Join our amazing AWS 2nd shift production teams (Friday – Sunday, 3:30pm – 3:00am) at our Loves Park Campus, where innovation, precision, and quality are at the heart of everything we do. This role will provide support and operations in products such as servo valves, actuators, fuel metering units, specialty valves or pumps. Training shift will be 1st shift, Mon-Fri, for the first 2 weeks. Starting 3rd week will be an alternate shift until training is completed and can move to permanent Weekend shift hours.

Requirements

Technical Capability: Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Evaluates product and determines component replacement needs for low-complexity product.
Critical Thinking: Identifies gap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes/procedures.
Problem Resolution: Identifies gap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes/procedures. Analyzes problems, proposes solutions, and implements corrective actions with minimal supervision.
Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrates understanding of mechanical systems and components. Can tear down, assemble and test products and setup equipment to support varying processes. Uses hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively. Completes routine changeovers and setups
Team Communication: Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and escalate immediate issues.

Responsibilities

Teardown, Assembly and Test Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently teardown, assemble and test product using specified tools and equipment.
Process: Coordinates with appropriate members and cross-functional teams to perform analysis, investigation, work scope of product.
Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.
Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.
