About The Position

At Sika, the Technician will be responsible for laboratory testing, product development and laboratory housekeeping.
Requirements
- Follow all safety protocols and established procedures
- Able to follow instruction and work independently
- Good communicating and writing skill
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or College degree in General Sciences
- Some industry experiences related to rubber, plastics or adhesive materials
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing, collect data, and record results
- Compound formulation and products per instruction given
- Test laboratory samples, production samples and raw materials.
- Work on minor projects, testing plan, with minimum supervision.
- Keep accurate records of all formulations and test results, generating reports and flagging any abnormalities
- Prepare reports or memos on assigned tasks or projects.
- Maintain the laboratory equipment in good operating conditions.
- Maintain assigned work areas and community work areas clean and tidy, following 5S and safety guidelines.
- Order raw materials and laboratory supplies as assigned.
- Store away raw materials, retains, and reference samples in designated areas.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, follow standard procedures for equipment including use of proper PPE
