About The Position

The primary responsibility of this Technician position is assisting in the development of Right of Way maps in the Property Office as directed by the Professional Land Surveyor. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand and calculate survey mathematics, draft plans in CADD, positively interact with project managers, senior property officers, legal staff, and meet project deadlines. Requirements

  • Education, training, and/or experience in engineering, a technical field, or another related area demonstrating competency in reviewing technical plans, drafting diagrams and reports, collecting data, and analyzing datasets for trends.

Responsibilities

  • Research of highway ROW, and private boundary plans, deeds, layouts, and other pertinent town or state documents
  • CADD drafting of moderately complex existing condition plans (right of way and property)
  • Determining the property rights needed to complete final right of way mapping under the guidance of senior employees and PLS
