Requirements

Six years of direct job-related experience
Computer skills are a plus.
Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

Complete pre-operational safety checklists prior to operating any equipment or machinery.
Provide support to engineers by troubleshooting process problems and implementing timely solutions.
Monitor/debug methods and procedures to ensure system efficiencies.
Assist in layout of workstation to improve workflow.
Monitor all process parameters, utilizing metering equipment, throughout shift.
React to process problems quickly; consult with engineers on appropriate action.
Assist engineers with design of experiments.
Assist with all set ups with the department.
Ensure all equipment is working properly.
Interact/interface with supporting departments
Ensure all safety rules and regulations are being followed.
Report any and all no conformities and accidents.
Do not modify or by-pass any safety related systems on any equipment or machinery.
Immediately report any unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to your department manager.
Immediately report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your department manager or safety department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
