About The Position

Join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician, where you'll play a key role in delivering excellent patient care. In this position, you'll support physicians by obtaining patient histories, performing preliminary diagnostic testing, assisting during exams, and ensuring that patient information is accurately documented. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
