Requirements

  • College diploma in chemical or industrial process techniques
  • Experience in a technical position (mechanics, welding, instrumentation, electricity, etc.)
  • Available to work on twelve (12) hour rotating shifts
  • Ability to manage emergencies and priorities
  • Rigor and compliance

  • Team spirit and collaboration
  • Knowledge of English is considered necessary for performing the tasks of this position. The individual in this position will be required to review documents and interact both verbally and in writing with colleagues at the head office in Texas or in other Canadian provinces, or with various stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, unilingual anglophone business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Operational phases required for receiving, transferring and shipping petroleum products.
  • Prepare maintenance work related equipment.
  • Visually verify equipment located on the terminal site as well as off-site equipment.
  • Perform marine operations monitoring.
  • Ensure proper drainage of surface water.
  • Witness manual dips performed by external parties.
  • Take product samples in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure safety and environment protection rules are complied with.
  • Maximize energy conservation.
