About The Position
Build upper level assemblies and/or sub-assemblies used in microprocessor based systems. Modify standard communications equipment and fabricate custom equipment to meet the customer's special requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five plus years of assembly experience
- Ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams
Nice To Haves
- GAI-Tronics product knowledge helpful
Responsibilities
- Manufacture upper level assemblies and/or sub-assemblies used in microprocessor based systems
- Assemble components used to make sub-assemblies
- Install panels upper level sub-assemblies
- Assemble access panels
- Perform detailed wiring
- Fabricate and/or modify products including page/party stations, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, wire wrap boards, relay panels, cabinet sub-assemblies, and cabinet assembly
- Correct problems arising during fabrication and/or final testing of equipment
- Lay out and fabricate custom metal work
- Provide support/training to Technicians I, as needed
- Review all documentation for potential errors and omissions
- Other duties as assigned
