About The Position

Assemble high quality complex products in an expedient manner. This role involves assembling a wide variety of products requiring a high amount of skill, experience, accuracy, and print reading. Responsibilities include assembling components for sub-assemblies, installing panels, card racks, and sub-assemblies, performing detailed wiring, and cabinet layout and wiring based on diagrams, schematics, and wire lists. The technician will operate various power and hand tools. Additionally, the role involves fabricating and modifying products such as printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, wire wrap boards, panels, enclosures, and cabinet sub-assemblies. Ensuring assemblies are complete and meet drawing specifications, and reviewing/updating documentation are also key duties. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two plus years of assembly experience
Ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams
Ability to lift 35 lbs
Requires good hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, mobility
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/part colors

Responsibilities

Assemble components used to make sub-assemblies
Install panels, card racks and sub-assemblies
Perform detailed wiring
Cabinet layout and wiring based on diagrams, schematics and wire lists
Operate power and hand tools including solder irons, crimpers, drivers, wrenches, pliers, cutters, wire wrap guns, etc.
Fabricate and modify printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, wire wrap boards, panels and enclosures, cabinet sub-assemblies, and sheet metal assemblies
Assure assemblies are complete and made to the drawing specifications
Review, update and accurately complete all required documentation
