Requirements

• Understanding blueprints and technical drawings is essential for their role.
• Must adhere to safety regulations and standards, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Industrial electricians install electrical systems, wiring, and control panels in manufacturing plants and other industrial facilities.
• They perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure electrical components operate efficiently and safely. This includes troubleshooting and repairing any electrical faults that may arise.
• They work with complex electrical systems, including high-voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and motor control centers. Understanding blueprints and technical drawings is essential for their role.
• Industrial electricians must adhere to safety regulations and standards, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
