About The Position

The Comtran Group is looking for a Technician--Low Voltage. In this role you will be working within a team. The work environment is dynamic and can change daily. The ComTran Group is a Quanta Services Company specializing in Telecommunications Infrastructure.

Requirements

0-5 years of industry experience
Flexible hours depending on project/911 work order.
Ability to travel for up to 1-week at a time for work.
Reliable transportation

Eligible to obtain a TWIC credential

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in fiber splicing and Cat6 terminations are a plus.
Ability to be a team player on a crew with 2 or more people.
Ability to interpret instruction and drawings as given by Forman/Supervisors.
Good positive attitude.
Must be able to work in various conditions outdoors including hot, cold, wet, and dry environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of multiple different low-voltage systems including: Cat6/Fiber cabling installations and terminations, PLC placement and basic signal wiring, OCR structures and infrastructure installation, Cameras, Remote Kiosks, and Traffic Signal Loops.
Install various Low-Voltage technologies, structures, and cabling according to plans/oral instruction as laid out by the forman/supervisor.
Climb ladders, get in and out of manholes and operate platform work equipment.
Follow all safety guidelines.
