About The Position
Jobsite Industrial Rental Services has an immediate opening for a Technician Level 1, reporting to the Branch Manager, operating from our Sudbury location. This is a busy, team-oriented shop that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff. Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.
Requirements
- A methodical and detail-oriented approach to testing and repair.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and travel for training as needed.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial tools including hand tools, power tools, hoisting, rigging, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Perform certification and calibration of tools and equipment.
- Conduct general assessments of tools returned from rental.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and certifications.
- Support the service team with additional duties as assigned.
