About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. This role involves working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment, offering opportunities to develop skills for a career track in service or operation management within a safety-focused environment. The fleet primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment, and at specialty lines locations, may include large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
May need to provide tools of trade.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Nice To Haves

Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
