About The Position

Operates production equipment for manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products. Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Performs balancing operations on complex aerospace parts. Interprets aerospace blueprints with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) dimensions. Uses measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges. Applies mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills for production tasks. Works under general supervision performing a variety of tasks. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Requires attention to fine detail and ability to stand for extended periods. Uses a computer for production documentation and tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in production or manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for production operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints including GD&T.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Ability to follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet specifications.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work under general supervision with limited experience and judgment.
