About The Position

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Yield Engineering Technician for their Yield Enhancement Team in Chandler, AZ. This role involves supporting daily material disposition, assisting with engineering experiment analysis, tracking discrepant material across manufacturing locations, and providing support for probe production. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and effective team member who can work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years technician experience
• Familiar with electronic fundamentals and analytical skills
• Work experience in manufacturing environment
• Team player
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Proficient use of computers and basic software such as MS Office
• Ability to work independently and systematically
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Support yield engineering daily disposition of material on hold
• Support engineering experiment analysis needs
• Assist in tracking discrepant material throughout various manufacturing locations
• Work with and provide support for probe production floor as needed
• Follow procedures and instructions
• Able to contribute as a reliable and effective team member with minimal supervision
