This Technician III position is part of the Synthesis team in the Tubes 'n Formulated Research Product value stream located in Coralville, Iowa and work is performed onsite. Requirements

  • Associate degree in a science related field or at least 18 months of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to synthesize oligos by traditional and non-standard means as necessary for success.
  • Ability to adapt to new customer driven processes in order to facilitate training of processes to other associates within department, as well as update Work Instructions/SAP as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s (4 year) degree preferred.
  • Science related field preferred.
  • Working proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (and an emphasis on Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training of new associates within department.
  • Interpret QC results and recognize when failures warrant further investigation.
  • Assist in the processing and documentation of non-standard orders.
  • Assist in the organization and prioritizing of the workflow.
  • Organize the workflow if a Team Leader or management is not present.
