About The Position

The Technician III, Facilities Maintenance is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and enhancing office environments through furniture installation, workspace reconfigurations, facility repairs, and remodeling projects. This role coordinates resources, schedules, budgets, and contractor activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope. The technician supports office relocations, modular wall installations, and preventative maintenance initiatives while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Working collaboratively with internal partners and external vendors, this position drives continuous improvement and helps maintain a safe, functional, and efficient workplace that supports business operations. We manage office furniture repairs, relocations, and reconfigurations, install and modify modular walls and workplace assets, and coordinate workstation moves. With hands-on expertise in facility repair and maintenance, we respond swiftly to associate and building needs, enabling efficient business operations. Requirements

  • A strong background in facilities maintenance and construction, with experience overseeing building repairs, renovations, furniture installations, and workplace improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures and safety compliance.
  • Ability to manage projects by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and adhering to budgets and schedules.
  • Skilled in relocating and remodeling office layouts, including furniture setup and modular wall installation.
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams and external contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
  • Commitment to maintaining worksite safety and regulatory compliance through risk assessments and safety instruction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to support team development and drive continuous improvement.
  • Regularly lift and carry 75+ pounds.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to maneuver large and heavy furniture and wall-system components through office and commercial environments.
  • Ability to work indoors and on active commercial construction or renovation sites.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of physical activity throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on doors, flooring, interior and exterior structures, and HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Manage projects by coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring progress, mitigating delays, and adhering to budgets.
  • Relocate and remodel office layouts, including setting up and dismantling furniture and fixtures for work orders and events.
  • Inspect completed projects to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and support teams by coordinating assignments, providing guidance, and promoting safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve facility operations and maintain worksite safety and efficiency.
