Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with 18 months of lab experience
  • Associate’s degree in science related field

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
  • Excellent computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to perform repetitive work or to perform continuously the same work, according to set procedures sequence or pace.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, test and monitor reagents for synthesis, purification, and quality control processes
  • Assesses QC data accurately and makes pass/fail decisions for oligos
  • Use automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance, decontamination and troubleshooting activities while adhering to safety regulations, lab SOPs, and contamination controls
