About The Position

The Technician II (Desalt Tubes) is responsible for the synthesis of synthetic DNA according to the customer’s order. This generally includes synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, QC sampling and final packaging of the products being made. This position reports to the Supervisor (Desalt Tubes) and is part of the Desalt Tubes Value Stream located in San Diego, CA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including: decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software. Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs. Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Excellent computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Nice To Haves

Life Science work experience.
12 months of lab experience
