About The Position

We have an opportunity for a Technician I Staging - Supply Chain to join our team. This role is an entry-level position in a non-laboratory environment, providing the chance to learn and work in a cGMP setting. You will follow detailed instructions and established procedures with moderate supervision. This position supports the staging of raw materials and components for production, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • No experience required, but 1+ years of experience in cold storage material handling, shipping, or material operations environment is highly preferred
  • Individual must be able to see, hear, read, and write clear English
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents, and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Must comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JD Edwards (Enterprise Resource Planning), Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams highly preferred
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as handheld scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks is preferred
  • Prior pharmaceutical or food manufacturing/processing, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Pick, stock, verify, identify inventory, or deliver materials using First Expired First Out (FEFO) basis
  • Execute and properly document cGMP biomanufacturing activities and support completion of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids (JAs)
  • Stage raw materials and components for production using DSI scanner, mobile device, and computers to maintain accurate inventory spreadsheets
  • Perform housekeeping, equipment cleaning, waste disposal, and adhere to 5S standards
  • Manage all work orders including printing, timely picking and staging of materials, issuing materials, and closing work orders upon completion
  • Support production and lab materials replenishment
  • Complete inventory cycle count activities as requested
  • Other duties as assigned
