About The Position
This is a Temp To Full-Time Outside Field Water Technician/Maintenance position. The role involves assisting with the installations and repairs of water mains, equipment, and water meters. Responsibilities include accurately reading water meters, disconnecting and reconnecting meter services, and assisting with grounds maintenance such as mowing, weeding, brush hogging, picking up trash, and maintaining the appearance of pump stations, well sites, office grounds, and the warehouse facility. The position also requires assisting in the maintenance of equipment and vehicles when needed, and maintaining accurate records of mileage, gas usage, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist on the installations and repairs of water mains, equipment and water meters.
- Accurately read water meters, disconnect and reconnect meter services.
- Assist in mowing, weeding, brush hogging, picking up trash and maintaining the appearance of pump stations, well sites, office grounds and warehouse facility.
- Assist in maintenance of equipment and vehicles when needed.
- Keep accurate records such as mileage, gas usage, maintenance on equipment and other records that are required.
