About The Position
The Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing, operates and maintains pressure washing equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety across various facility surfaces. This role involves evaluating cleaning requirements, performing preventative maintenance on machinery, and adhering to established safety protocols. The technician manages equipment inventory, operates corporate vehicles, and coordinates with stakeholders to support facility operations. Requirements
- Proven experience operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
- Ability to evaluate cleaning areas and determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and operational methods.
- Skilled in performing preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing and facility equipment.
- Competence in operating corporate vehicles, including conducting inspections and adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with facility users, managers, and team members.
- Ability to document work accurately using electronic devices and maintain equipment inventory.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies consistently.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight or weekends.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
- As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language
Nice To Haves
- Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and be able to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner’s Certification (MEC) card
- Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
- Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
- Experience in power washing/exterior maintenance.
- Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
- State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California, etc).
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Evaluate cleaning areas to determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and methods for effective results.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on power washing machinery and corporate vehicles.
- Respond to work orders, document tasks, and communicate updates with facility users and management.
- Maintain equipment inventory, install wear parts, and ensure proper storage of tools and vehicles.
- Collaborate with teams to meet operational priorities and support facility maintenance needs.
- Execute seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to uphold safe conditions.
