About The Position

The Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing, is responsible for operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring they meet established standards. This role involves evaluating cleaning requirements, performing safety and preventative maintenance on machinery, and managing equipment inventory. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, effective communication with facility users, and collaboration with team members to support operational needs. Additionally, the technician operates corporate vehicles safely and performs related facility maintenance tasks to uphold a clean, safe, and functional environment. Requirements

  • Proven experience operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate surfaces and determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and operational methods to meet facility standards.
  • Skilled in performing preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing and heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Competence in operating corporate vehicles, including conducting inspections and maintaining vehicle condition.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with facility users, managers, and team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support facility maintenance needs with attention to quality and safety.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and maintain a minimum of a 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card.
  • No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
  • No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
  • No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • As required by Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
  • Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
  • Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in power washing/exterior maintenance.
  • Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
  • State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).
