Requirements
- Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment with adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to lead third-party providers, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain quality assurance inspections.
- Effective troubleshooting and customer service skills to resolve facility-related issues promptly.
- Competence in vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation management.
- Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity in all work activities.
- 2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.
- Valid state-issued driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
- Experience in third-party management.
- Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform seasonal maintenance including landscaping, snow and ice management, and equipment servicing.
- Operate and inspect heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Lead third-party providers through coaching and performance evaluations.
- Implement sustainability upgrades and identify cost-saving improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit required reports and invoices.
