About The Position
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, technical ability and calm, professional manner are essential in this role. Greater El Monte Community Hospital is a 110-bed acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of services, including ICU, MST, ER, OR, and Sub-Acute units. To better meet the growing needs of our community, we are currently building a new psychiatric unit, which is expected to be operational in 2026. Our primary focus remains providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care to all those we serve.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- EKG/Rhythm certificate
Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform cardiac diagnostic testing on patients
- Operate EKG equipment and ensure accurate readings for physician review
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Maintain equipment
- Document test results
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Perform filing, reporting, transporting small oxygen cylinders and other duties as needed
