Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of maintenance experience, Senior Master Tech Certification or equivalent industry certifications/experience.
• Telecommunications concepts, CATV, and coaxial transport systems, electricity and electronics.
• Troubleshooting skills in CATV and Telco systems using experience and test equipment.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with the public and staff as well as 3rd party vendors and other utilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preventive and demand maintenance and repair of the hybrid fiber coax (HFC) or fiber to the home (FTTH) broadband network including its associated equipment in accordance with operational standards and the company’s policy.
• Maintaining or improving system performance standards.
