Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) – Diesel Engine –Cincinnati, OH
About The Position
We are looking for a talented Technician Apprentice to join our team specializing in Diesel Engines for our Distribution Business in Cincinnati, OH. During your apprenticeship, you are a full-time, paid employee who will complete a development program with the support of our coaching technicians and managers. Our agreement with you ensures you receive an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Automotive & Diesel Technology and U.S. Department of Labor Trade Certificates for Diesel Engines upon successful completion. There will be no college debt as Cummins pays for your education, and course credits are transferable towards a bachelor’s degree.
Requirements
- Passionate about working with your hands
- Ability to work with small hand tools while maintaining overall safety
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Meet the minimum community college general education course requirement of 2.8 GPA High School (unweighted), or 22 ACT score, or GED with one year of college including Math and English with a minimum 2.8 GPA
