Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree preferred
- Mechanical or technical training a plus
- 2+ years’ experience as a mechanic and/or servicing industrial printing equipment
- General knowledge of print production
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain equipment
- Ability to climb ladders if necessary, to repair and maintain equipment
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and strategic thinking
Responsibilities
- Provide service and maintenance on all printing equipment in the facility
- Prioritize issues to resolve urgent incidents in a timely manner
- Be available to provide support to the facility outside of regular working hours if necessary
- Troubleshoot complex issues with equipment
- Work collaboratively with plant and management teams to find solutions to problems
- Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem solving.
