About The Position
This is a Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) focused on Diesel Engines in Odessa, TX. As a full-time, paid apprentice, you will complete a development program with support from coaching technicians and managers. Upon successful completion, you will receive an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Automotive & Diesel Technology and U.S. Department of Labor Trade Certificates for Diesel Engines. Cummins covers the cost of your education, and course credits are transferable towards a bachelor's degree.
Requirements
- Passionate about working with your hands
- Ability to work with small hand tools while maintaining overall safety
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Minimum 2.8 GPA High School (unweighted), or 22 ACT score, or GED with one year of college including Math and English with a minimum 2.8 GPA
