About The Position

Responsible for printing, de-powdering, furnace operation, build plate post-processing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our additive manufacturing equipment and processes. Use of laser and electron beam powder fusion technology.

Requirements

Basic understanding and the ability to work from schematics, engineering drawings, Manufacturing Process Instructions, and written or verbal instructions.
Understanding and safe use of hand tools such as Torque Wrenches, Sharps, Hand Drills, Pneumatic Tools etc. Also calibrated hand tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers and gauges in a production environment.
Additive Manufacturing experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to pass both written and hands-on certification requirements.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
Certified M290, M400, or Spectra H operator with advanced applications training.
Familiarity with Creo, 3DXpert, or Magics software working with STL files.
Utilize tools such as SAP and VE-CAMs.
Ability to do light manual machining work to support build efforts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the smooth operation of additive manufacturing equipment and processes.
Operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
Experience with the daily operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Laser (LPBD) or Electron Beam Melting (EBM) powder bed fusion machines, powder sieve operation and maintenance.
Post-processing of parts (support removal, tumbling, etc.).
Running and maintaining a furnace, including stress relief.
Must be very safety conscious, well versed with Hazmat, FOD and tool control.
