About The Position

This position involves implementing jobs according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), communicating professionally with customers and crew members, and troubleshooting issues with management when a Senior Technician is unavailable. The role requires assisting in the implementation and performance of projects, including managing equipment and job checklists, and maintaining records for tools and vehicles. The Technician 2 ensures projects are completed efficiently and in a timely manner, contributes to improving existing programs with valuable input, and understands the capabilities of flush equipment and all tools. They may also provide input into the design of new equipment, maintain client confidence, and protect operations. A positive attitude, adaptability to learning, regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work harmoniously with others are essential. The role also includes driving defensively in company vehicles, following and enforcing safety procedures, and assisting with quality flush reports and system balancing. Reading and comprehending flush plans is also a key responsibility. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required plus one-year practical training.
  • Osha 30 certified
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safe and insurable driving record
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to pass drug tests as well as background checks
  • 21 years of age

  • CDL NOT REQUIRED BUT ENCOURAGED.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the job to its entirety per SOP if Senior Tech is not onsite.
  • Communicate with customers and crew members in a professional manner.
  • Communicate issues and help troubleshoot with management/ supervisor if Senior Tech is not available.
  • Helps with implementation and performance of the project.
  • Helps in record keeping on and offsite, tools and vehicle maintenance depending on the specific project.
  • Ensure projects are worked in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in pre-job site surveys.
  • Contributes to improving existing programs by providing valuable input.
  • Understands the capabilities of flush equipment and all tools.
  • Can provide input into design of new equipment.
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations.
  • Works with a positive attitude and adapts to learning new things.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement for this position.
  • A Professional and courteous manner and an ability to work harmoniously with other employees and customers.
  • Drive defensively in company vehicles as well as on PurgeRite time including jobsites.
  • Follows and helps enforce PurgeRite safety procedures onsite and at shop.
  • Helps with writing quality flush reports if needed.
  • Can read and comprehend flush plan for assigned job.
  • Understands and can help balance a system when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
