As a Technician 2, you’ll bring the experience and technical know-how to diagnose complex issues, make dependable repairs, and keep material handling equipment performing safely and reliably.

Requirements

5+ years of forklift repair or related industry experience, with strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of material handling equipment.
Experience using precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
Strong customer service and communication skills, along with the ability to furnish your own tools, perform frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and twisting, and safely lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment across LP, gas, diesel, and electric systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, drive, and lifting systems.
Keep equipment performing safely and reliably through preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, failure analysis, component repairs, and basic welding.
Put safety first on every job by following proper equipment procedures, Briggs safety standards, and applicable DOT, OSHA, federal, state, and local requirements.
Support customers and your team by maintaining accurate service records, managing needed parts and supplies, completing technical training, and serving as a trusted resource for fellow technicians and Service leadership.
