Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license
  • 3+ years of experience repairing designated equipment or working in a related industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and troubleshooting skills
  • Certification on at least 65% of the designated product line.
  • A dependable, customer-first attitude and clear communication skills
  • Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to furnish your own tools

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical or trade school training
  • Technician certification

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment and major components, including engines, transmissions, drive axles, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, electric motors, and lifting systems.
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, basic welding, and other repairs to keep equipment operating safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Put safety first on every job by properly blocking, chocking, chaining, and disassembling equipment and following all company, DOT, OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
