Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
A valid driver’s license
3+ years of experience repairing designated equipment or working in a related industry
Strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and troubleshooting skills
Certification on at least 65% of the designated product line.
A dependable, customer-first attitude and clear communication skills
Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to furnish your own tools

Nice To Haves

Mechanical or trade school training
Technician certification

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment and major components, including engines, transmissions, drive axles, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, electric motors, and lifting systems.
Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, basic welding, and other repairs to keep equipment operating safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
Put safety first on every job by properly blocking, chocking, chaining, and disassembling equipment and following all company, DOT, OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
